Watchers of the North is a six part television documentary series about the adventures of the Canadian Rangers, largely Aboriginal Canadian Forces reservists in Canada's northern, remote and coastal communities.

Filmed over seven weeks of springtime in Taloayak and Gjoa Haven in Nunavut, two film crews followed the Canadian Rangers in Task Force North - 1 Canadian Ranger Patrol Group (1 CRPG) during their on and off-duty lives. From Search and Rescue training, to checking abandoned DEW line sites, from the fun of a fishing competition to the effects of global warming on their daily lives and the lives of teenage Junior Rangers, each episode is filled with the adventure and humour of being a Ranger in the North.
