Great news for our fans Down Under: Watchers of the North will be premiering this Thursday, January 22nd, from 9:30p.m. - 10p.m. on Australia's NITV. Tune in for Episode 1: The New Recruits and spread the word to your mates! Viewers can now catch the Inuit reservists in Nunavut on NITV every Thursday, as they undertake surveillance missions and go on search and rescue missions in temperatures below -30, all the while preserving Inuit traditions and learning new skills.
Fans of British Columbia’s Knowledge Network will be excited to know our series is now being aired on that public broadcaster every Wednesday at 7 PM. Episodes begin January 7th and will be repeated at 11:30 PM, Thursdays at 6 PM and Sundays at 2 PM.
This weekend, two episodes of our series “Watchers of the North” will be playing at the Dellie Maa film festival in Sweden, marking the country’s first ever entirely indigenous Film & Art Festival. The Dellie Maa Film & Art Festival will take place on the 28-29th of November in Tärnaby (known as the home town of many of Sweden's top international skiers) and on the 6-7th of December in the large Northern university town of Umeå.

Watchers of the North is currently being seen across 14 states including Oregon, Washington and Florida. And the number of states will expand over the next two months as more PBS stations across the USA opt to carry the series!

We’re proud to announce that “Watchers of the North” recently won a gold Remi in the TV mini-series category at the Worldfest Houston International Film & Video Festival!
It’s a new year and there are many new opportunities to catch Watchers of the North on APTN! The show is premiering its Inuktitut language version, as well as being broadcast again in English, all starting the week of January 7.
